SCochrun worked the summers of lf4S and 1949 for the game com-! rnjssion at Diamond Lake and came to Klamath Falls in Feb ruary, 1950. lie was graduated from Oregon State College in 1949 w)th a bachelor's degree in science from the department of fisher ies. With his wife and son, Mark. h will make his home in Portland atj 7457 SE 78th Avenue. Replacing Cochrun here as fish eries agent will be Arthur R. Ger lach who was a classmate at Ore- gon State and comes to Klamath Falls from Newport where he has been fisheries agent since Novem ber, 1951. Gerlach started working for the game commission during the sum-1 mer ot 1946 at East Lake and Paulina Lake. Until his graduation from OSC in 1949, he worked sum mer surveys in the Wallowa mountains and the lakes and res ervoirs in the Elkhorn range. One summer he was on a special sur vey lor the commission on the Clackamas River. For a year and a half before transferring to Newport, he worked on striped bass in the Coos Bay area and a special salmon tagging program at Pacific City. He is married and has a son and daughter and they are look ing for a place to live in Klamath Falls.
