Named were: Program and re freshments. Mrs. Bill Carter, Mrs. Carrol Howe and Mis. Lloyd Seely; publications, Mr. and Mrs. Lane Smith and Mrs. Roy Gicneer; research, Geve Fa veil, Roy Gien ger and Jerry Wolff. Bob Montgomery was introduced as guest of the evening. Among the displays brought to the meeting was a tnounting of well preserved matting and rope found by Robert Wilson. . The group was asked to do individual research on the stones and be prepared to report at the April meeting. Refreshments were served by the new committee. March 20, in the school library. Those who earned pins are Alicia Ager. Shirley DeLonge. Jean Kloiber. Barbara Moore. Roberta Pruitt, Vera Smith. Barbara Rot rock, and Norma Brallier. The Future Nurse Club Is spon sored by the Woman's Auxiliary to the Klamath County Medical So ciety to introduce high school girls to the opportunities for service in nursing and to encourage interest In various nursing fields. Commu nity service has been the keynote of the club's program for the year. Members made stuffed toys and animals for distribution by the Christmas Bureau, took an active part In the Teens Against Polio drive, and staffed the nursery or the recent visit of the bloodmobile. The group performed so efficiently on the last task that they were in vited by the Red Cross to make It a permanent project and It will go on the agenda for succeeding years as well. Advisers are school nurse. Mrs. Howard Strode, and auxiliary nurse recruitment chairman, Mrs. John W. Christerson. Th formal candlelight cere mony, conducted by Peggy Brown, club president, is used throughout the United States by auxiliary sponsored clubs. Following the award of pins, Mrs. Raymond Tice. auxiliary president, served punch to the future nurses and their mothers assisted by auxiliary members who were hostesses for the event.
