Kenyon was Poten tate of Hillah Temple In 1955. The Portland unit accepts pa tients from Oregon, Washington. Idaho, British Columbia and Alas ka. Any Shriner can sign a peti tion for a crippled child, up to Die Age of H. The child is then exam ined and If it Is found that he ciin be helped, his or her name Is placed upon a list for admittance. Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children has often been culled "The World's Greatest Philanthropy." and Shriners are proud that crip pled children, regardless of race, color or creed are admitted and treated at no cost to the patient or the parents. Many Klamath Palls residents have been patients at the hospital. Committees have been appointed according to Helen Lusk, publicity chairman to handle the various functions. Exhibits at the fair will include woodcraft, hand weaving, leather craft, art, rugs, lapidary, collectors Hems and miscellaneous. Items on display, according to Ralph "Bud" Ash. are things made or collected by the disabled veter ans domiciled at Camp White. More than 50 veterans are pre paring to enter their product for display at the fair. First, second and third prizes, contributed by sponsoring organizations will be awarded the winners. "Arts, crafts and hobby activi ties at Camp White," declared Manager Ricker, "have contributed vitally to the care and treatment of our disabled veterans. The pub lic is cordially invited to come and see the Interesting things which these men have made in the in terest of their rehabilitation." YMCA Soap Sales Begin been punching the doorbells oil Klamath Falls this week sellinti boxes of soap in Iheir annual sale. The salesmen are Identified by the "Y" hats and badges they are wearing. The money raised by the young YMCA members is used to enable them to go to the various summer camps maintained by the organiza tion. The profit from the sales goes directly to the individual salesman In the form of credit toward his tuition for camping privileges in 1958. None of the profit from the soap sale goes into the local Y operating fund. The sales will be held from March 10 to June 9.
