OREGON Fire Girls Hold Dinner MERRILL Merrill Camp Fire Oirls held their annual D.id-Dr.ugri-ler dinner in Uie Merrill Recn anon Hall on February 8 ith places for 153 girls, their fathers, leaders, assistant leaders and sponsors.. Dinner was terved at 7:30 p.m. at tables decorated to carry out the Camp Fire birwday theme. "Plant Seeds - Reap Friend ship." Mrs. Naomi French, executive secretary. Klamath Falls. . Mrs. Groree Proctor, president of the Camp Fire Council and Mr. Proc tor, also cf Klamath Falls were special guests. Mrs. French gave the history of Camp Fire Irom the organization to the present day. A ponmal of the birthoay pro ject was given by the Ko-Da-Kit-ia and the O-Ki-ce-ya-PI Camp Fire Oirls. A skit with Johnny Apple seed plaved by Sara West, Betty Oardenseed. played by Breda OKeefe and Wa-Hnn-Ka Camp Fire Girls was presented. The Bluebird groups sang. "SKip Along the Way." accompanied by Mrs. Don West at the piano. Mrs. Robert R. Walker was gen eral chairman for the dinner. She was assisted by Norma Kaudra, and Lillian Chapman. News director Tom Carlisle of station KBTV had planned an in terview on his regular newscast at 10 p.m. (MSTI with Graham and set up TV cameras In the county Jail.
