effort to learn why William Bauer
wiped out six members of his
family with a shotgun and then
took his own life.
Morris County Prosecutor John

for a two-week vacation.
The victims were Bauer's wife
Florence, 36; his children Eliia-
beth, 6, and Peter, 20 months; his
mother Emma, 84; and his wife's
father Unique C. Neuber Sr., 68,
and his wife.
