law directing this survey. Inspec

Inspection figures for the first
three areas In which the program
operated show 3,155 animals
slaughtered, eight antemoriem
condemnations; 30 carcasses con
demned; 760 parts condemned:
and 15,173 pounds of meat food
products condemned.
These figures breakdown by spe
cies like this: Animals slaughtered
cattle, 1,667; calves, 230; hogs,
1,174; sheep, 163: and goals, 21.
