Twin'Pak Cartons Make Debut Here The Klamath Falls Creamery last week commenced general distribu tion of its new Grater Lake Twin Fak milk cartons. Marklni another great step, to ward convenience packaging, the local creamery has installed one of the latest and most modern ma chines which wraps two single quarts of milk together and at tne same time Inserts a handle for easy carrying. j According to Percy Murray, manager of the Klamath Falls Creamery, this machine was de veloped in San Francisco and in less than two years is one of the most talked of new developments in the marketing of milk in the country. It makes possible the pur chase of milk at the grocery store or supermaket in multiple units and yet retains all the home con venience of the individual quart containers. According to Murray, this type of milk packaging has proved tre mendously successful in every mar ket where it has been introduced. Personnel from the Klamath Falls Creamery carefully surveyed many markets where all types of milk containers were available to the public and found that where the Twin-Pak milk cartons were sold, they were preferred by shoppers in every instance by wide mar gins. Murray pointed out that Klam ath Falls Creamery has been dis tributing dairy products on this market for nearly 40 years and this marks the fourth major change in the milk containers used. First were the large round glass milk bottles. Then followed the square glass bottle that took so much less space In refrigerators. Later, the revolutionary paper containers re placed all glass bottles on the local market and now the Twin-Pak mul tiple unit for greater consumei convenience. Klamath Falls Creamery mar kets all its dairy products under the Crater Lake trade mark and is wholly locally owned with all owners actively engaged in the creamery operation.
