Garrett-Howard Nuptial Rites In First Presbyterian Church Marlene Jo Howard, November bride of Gerald Lee (Gerryi Gar rett, was diminutive and dainty as a bridal doll in her full skirted gown of crisp tulle accented with lace. Bouffant lines were empha sized in the yards of gathered tulle over satin and airy touches of lace applique leaves and flow ers were sprinkled over the tulle over-skirt from the dropped waist line of the fitted bodice to the bell hemline. Fluted tulle encrusted with Iri descent sequins and liny seed pearls covered the flat hat which held her fingertip veil. An all white bouquet ol six phalenopsis orchids surrounded with the con trasting lRciness of stephanotis florets was draped from her white Jobs' Daughters' Bible a gift from Aloha Chapter, Order of Eastern Star when "Jo" was In stalled as honored queen of Bethel Mo. 6. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Howard, 2336 Home Street, and her father gave her in marriage. Gerry is tire son of Mrs. Stanley Rogers, 1832 Last Street; and Paul . Garrett, Spo kane. flanked a large arrangement of woodwardia fern and long sprays of white satin pampas grass. The setting was illuminated by candle light from lighted tapers in floor candelabra behind the vase bou quets; and white satin bows marked alternate pews down the center aisle. For the wedding and reception Mrs. Howard wore a dusty rose afternoon dress, light pink hat with brief veil, and a corsage of Pink Delight roses. The bridegroom's mother wore a black afternoon dress trimmed in pale pink and her corsage was also of Pink De light roses. At the reception in the church parlors, the three-tiered cake was served by Mrs. Hugh Rossiter, aunt of the bride; and Mrs. Al Hat tan. Mrs. W. E. Anderson, also aunt of the bride, poured coffee: and Mrs. J. A. Ustlck presided at the punch bowl. Out of town guests were Ruby Gchrlng, former Klamath Falls resident, now living In Eureka; Mrs. Clinton Price, Honolulu: Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rogers, St. Fran cis, Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. She went to Uni versity of Oregon for one Sear and prior to her marriage was enrolled at Kinman Business Col lege, Spokane. After his release from the USAF, Gerry will be associated with his father In the senior Garrett's In surance office.
