Cali fornia weather summary: Skies are cloudy over most of the state and light rain fell during the night near San Diego and on the coast from about San Fran cisco northward. Rainfall amounts were generally light. The storm off the Southern California coast has weakened considerably but did cause rain over all of Southern California during the past 24 hours. Temperatures Sunday were low er over most of the southland by five to 10 degrees while the north ern and central portions of the state were unchanged to five de crees higher. Coastal winds have swuny into the south and are in creasing from Monterey northward and small craft warnings are dis played from Fort Bragg north ward. ' Temperatures this morning were higher in the central portion of the state and not greatly changed over other areas. Lows were 40-50 in Southern California. 38-45 in tha Central Valley and along the North and Central Coast, while mountain areas were generally below freez ing at moderate elevations. The outlook is for continued cloudy weather with intermittent rain over the northern half of the state but variable cloudiness will prevail elsewhere.
