STINSON, who were re cenily married In Reno First Congregational Church. The Rev. Frank Carlson officiated at the 6 p.m. candlelight ceremony In the presence of close friends and members of the immediate families. The bride is the former Shirley Pettiford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Pettiford. Santa Monica, and her father gave her in marriage. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mauldin, 827 Rose Street. The wedding party were guests of the bride's parents at a beautifully arranged dinner at Eugenee's, complete with a three tiered wedding cake cut by the newlyweds. The couple spent their honeymoon in the Bay Area and are now at home in Klamath Falls. He is a graduate of Tulelake High School, now enrolled as a medical technology student at OTI. She was a student at San Bernardino College School of Nursing before her mar riage. Her wedding dress shown above, is of white crystalette embossed with silver leaves. Completed plans for a food sale to be sponsored by the Mount Shasta Bethel were announced and the sale will be - held Saturday, November 5, at the Weed Mer cantile In Weed. Bethel guardian, Mrs. George Walter, Dunsmuir, and associate guardian Chester Kimrey, Weed, were escorted to the east and introduced by the honored queen, Sandra Hughes. Lighted Jack o' lanterns com plemented the autumn decor used on the banquet tables in addition to arrangements of varied colors of leaves. Refreshments were served by the Mount Shasta mem bers of the bethel with Ann franks s chairman. Mrs. Euiere Oln waa in charge and decorated the big hall with orange and black crepe paper; Mack cats and witcnes were on all the windows; and the refresh ment taole held lighted Jack-o-lanterns and tall candles. ' The older children were divided into three groups and had a scav- team. Games and contests were en joyed until 10:30 when refresh ments of hot chocolate and cookies were served. Nut cups holding Hal loween candies were favors. Thirty eight children and 16 adults were present. Dinner Honors Anniversary Couple BONANZA Mr. and Mrs. John Brown of Bonanza were honored with a dinner Sunday, Ocjouer SO, at the home of their daughter Mrs. Lee Miller of Klamath Falls. The party was In honor of the Browns silver wedding anniversary. Others present were Lee Miller nnd two children, and Mr,, and Mrs. Herman Wolfe and daughter. Sliver Wedding Surprise Party DUNSMUIR Mr. and Mrs. El mer Larson were feted on their recent 35th wedding anniversary by a group of friends who gave them a surprise party. Mrs. Paul Radebough and Mrs. Lester Wilson were co-hostesses lor the party. The honorees were taken out to dinner while the guests assembled In their home. Cards were played during the evening which concluded with the opening or anniversary grns ruu the serving of a tiered wedding cake. -x Visitor Feted LANGELL VALLEY Mrs. Ed die Gralian gave a party at her home on the evening of Novem ber 6 for her nephew Ronnie Nephew visiting for the weekend from Sacramento. The boys played "bingo" and other games and made pop corn balls. Refreshments were served at nine o'clock to Ronnie Nephew, Monte Burnett, Gary Randall, Kenney and Wayne Scott, Tommy Crawford and Michael and Dan ny Gralian.
