Carol Phllpot has returned to her home in Bonanza after six weeks in Klamath Valley Hospital following injuries received when hit by a car. She will be in bed for another six weeks, it Is reported. Thief Takes Ham From Restaurant A Klamath Falls restaurant was burglarized sometime Sunday night, and a shoulder of ham and a carton of cigarettes were taken, Klamath Falls police reported today. Walter Schuldkles, manager of the Victory Cafe at South Sixth and Broad streets, reported that the burglary occurred sometime be tween 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday. Police said that the thief gained entry by climbing onto a leanto roof and smashing a win dow next to the back door. Legion Group Plans Vet Day MALIN Mrs. P. D. Bruce Funeral Rites Announced Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 9. from the chapel of Ward's Klamath Funer al Home, at 1:3? p.m. for John Bruce. 44. who died November 3 in Hillside Hospital. A native of Rockwell, Iowa, he had lived in Klamath County for 20 years and was employed for the last six years in ranch work for Louis Stewart of Mer rill. He had been a member of Merrill Moose Lodge No. 306 for 11 years. Survivors Include six sisters and one brother. Pallbearers will be Ralph Swisher, Dwight Hamilton.
