Economics Club Plans Dance SUMMER LAKE Members of the Home Economics Club met last week at the home of Mrs. Mae Leyva and made plans for a public dance to be held at the grange hall Saturday, November 12. The club members will donate and serve the supper. A guest, Mrs. Edna Dunn of Paisley, was present at the meet ing. The hostess served Halloween refreshments. Morse (D-Ore said Wednesday nltrht the ilexlble farm price supports of the Eisenhower administration have turned out to be "collapsible sup ports." 'The American farmer wants no more of it." Morse told aim iur.n. at a dinner planned by the Mai neur County Democratic Central Committee. He said he intends to tin h.lr tn Washington in January to vote for parity programs for the farmer. Morso also urged the use of our farm surpluses to help foreimi countries that need development. This, he said, would nirf th Mr-i countries as well as aid U. Klamath Talis U.S. Marine Corps recruiting . Sergeant Harold D Morta received notice of his pro motion to staff sergeant yesterday from MaJ. W. P. Simlik, oflicer-in-charge of Marine Corps recruit ing for Oregon. MaJ. Simlik was in Klamath Palls from his Portland headquar ters for a routine' inspection of the local office. The Marine of. ficer was scheduled to inspect the recruiting offices in Medford, Rose burg and Eugene during his tour of the state. S-Sgt. Morts, who recently suc ceeded M-Sgt. Charles 'A. West as the Klamath Falls Marine recrui ter, is a veteran of 6'2 years In' the Marine Corps.
