Alice Kring and Mary Drace led uie nag salute. An attractive year book was presented to all persons attending. Secretary, Mrs. Louis Natale read a letter from President Eis enhower proclaiming November 8 to November 12 as National Edu cation Week. Mrs. Archie McClurg, ways ana means chairman, asked for volun teers to help with the rummage sale to be held in the Pelican Theater building on November 18. A prize will be given to the room gathering the most rummage. The group voted thai each youth organization be allowed to have one candy sale at the school each year. Mrs. Guv Merrill and "Mrs. E. W. Zigler reported orf the work shop that was held in Medford October 6. Many ideas were gained Irom this meeting. Mr. McLin said that many new families will be moving to Klam ath Falls for work on the jet base apd suggested that we have a committee to visit all new fami lies that move into our communi ty. Mrs. Groseclose asked for vol unteers. Hie following ladies vol unteeved: Mrs. Keith David, Mrs. Mrs. Nello Picrucclnni. Mrs. Ben DeVore, Mrs. E. W. Zigler, Charles Clardy and Mrs. Tom Wal ters. The president said the Hallow een parties will be held in rooms Monday afternoon October 31. An Invitation was extended by Mrs. K. W. Zigler to all interested perrons to attend County Council. Mrs. Roy Drace asked for a mother to help with the 4th grade Brownie group. She also said there 'vere vacancies in the 1-H Sewing Group. Mrs. Edsall's second graae won room count ' Mrs. Fred Fletcher won the door prize. After the business meeting the film "Mike Makes His Mark" was shown. The next meeting will be Fath er's Night and will be November 16. of Mrs. Cecil Jackson, Wednesday, i October 26. with co-hostess, Mrs.; Carl Rajnus. Roll call was answered by giv ing tips on bulb storage, in the; absence of Mrs. Hubert Morelock, who was to give the topic of the day, Mrs. J. Walter Browning spoke. Mrs. Loveness announced the Christmas workshop to be held in Klamath Falls, at the county ex hibit building, for all district gar den ciub, December 3. A discus sion on the sponsoring of a booth at the workshop resulted In a majority of the members not In favor. A most interesting group of mov ies was shown by Mrs. E. Har mond Loveness. on her European trip. Other movies were shown by Perry Haley, of the Malin flower show, and of local gardens. Some colored slides were also shown. About 12 members and two guests, Mrs. William A. Weath ers and Mrs. Gerald Quinn, were present. The November meeting, will be held at the home of Mrs. Jerry Rajnus, on November 30 instead of on November 23, the regular meeting day, due to the Thanks, giving holiday. The theme will be "Christmas all through the house." Hatfield Wins Free Ranch Lot Lew Hatfield, 815 Washburn Way. Klamath Falls, won a free lot and deed at the Frontier Guest Ranch Friday night at its annual lot owners' party, Drawing for the lots climaxed the Halloween-type party, which lasted from 6 fc.m. to 10 p.m. at the ranch.
