Proett, Mrs. Ben Peters, Mrs. Ross Ragland and Mrs. Ray Benedict. Church Vomen Sponsor Tea United Nations Sunday was ob served on October 23 with an in ternational tea sponsored bji the Klamath Falls Council of Church Women., The tea, , held in' the YMCA, was well attended. , Costumes of many nations were worn by those assisting. Mis. Da vid Bunger wore a Bedouin cos tume from Arabia; Mrs. Kenneth Lambie, Japanese, Mrs, D. t. Proett, was dressed as a woman of Jerusalem and Mrs. Ross Rag land depicted an Austrian. Special guests were Florence Fairhill and Betty - Blanchard In charge of the program at the labor camps at Newell and Malin. Miss Fairhill gave a brief report of the work being carried on anion? transient laborers in the two camps. .A During the program hour, Kris tian Gippo. on the violin and his son, Jan Gippo on the flute, were accompanied by Serena Smith. The girls' ensemble from Fair'view School sang several songs. The tea table arranged by; Mrs. Percy Murray, was covered 'with a bark-brown cloth and centered with miniature dolls and flags of many nations, grouped about a copper bowl of multi-colored marl golds, bronze seed pods and chry santhemums. Pouring were Mrs. John Yadon, Mrs. Roy Benedict. Mrs.. Ona Bag- ley, Mrs. Joe Wade, Mrs. Palmer Gunderson and Joyce Landrum Mrs. D. L. . Proett was general chairman. TRADE MISSION.
