The theme of autumn was car ried out in room decor, appoint menU and table decorations, with a profusion of yellow and white chrysanthemums .carrying out the predominating color scheme of yel low and white which was repeat ed in a large yellow and White umbrella and bouquet of mums on the gift table. The guest of honor was assist ed in opening the packages' by her molher; her sister, Mrs. Car roll Piltman, Ashland, recorded the gift list. Refreshments were served, by the ba- .esses. Mrs. Ira F. 0"m, Mrs. Joanna Taylor, Mrs. William A. Page, Mrs. Loren L. Miller Jr. and Mrs. William Zumbrun. Nearly 80 names were on the guest list for the pre-nuptial -party 1 for Patsy. WOMEN OF MOOSE CHAPTER NIGHT WEED Mrs. Ray Hanks, senior regent, presided at the October 13 meeting of the Women of the Moose, Weed Chapter, and pre sented the chapter night program in the absence of Mrs. Bertha Aid rich,. Mooscheart chairman. The attending group voted to contribute a donation from the chapter to the College of Regents at Mooseheart. 6pecial awards went to Mrs. Otis Laney." Thirteen members attended the meeilng and hostesses Mrs. John Toms and Mrs. Winston Williams served refreshments following the meeting adjournment. The regular meeting of October 22 will be followed by a Halloween party. Aloha Past Matrons Club First Fall Meeting Aloha Past Matrons Club met for its first fall meeting Friday afternoon September 30, In the par lors of the Masonic Hall. A potluck luncheon .was served from a table decorated with asters and Oregon grape. . A short business meeting was conducted by the president. Alma Getz, .during which election of of ficers was held. Grace Cole was elected president; Charlotte Mar tin, vice president ; Claire Alice Epperson, secretary; and Clara Dewitt was appointed publicity chairman. The members presented Mrs Qelz with a dainty cup and saucer as a memento of her year as pres- .dent. Mrs. Getz remembered her officers Mrs. Cole. Mrs. Epperson and Mrs. DeWitt with gifts of ap preciation. Members present were Alma Get'.
