Oregon Girl Killed In Crash BARSTOW. Calif, i.fi Nineteen-year-old Lillie Oleana Eb.ivj, Mt. Vernon, Ore., was killed Saturday night when struck by a car a mile and a half east of here on U.S. Highway 6P. Dept. Coroner P. H. Ev?ns reported Sunday. He said Miss Ebarb was driving from the Oregon town to Albanv, Texas, with Everett W. Redd, 31. of that Texas community, and James L. Roach. 17. Mt. Vernon, when their car broke down here. Unable to get it repaired. Evans said, they had started hitchhiking and Miss Ebarb was struck by an automobile driven by Jesus M. Griego of Barstow. The latter said he was temporarily blinded by the lights of an oncoming vehicle. He was not held. Miss Ebarb was killed outright. Alexander Patch Sunday night rescued two Britons who had drilled helplessly for 24 hours in their crippled sloop in the English Channel. The Gen.
