Mr. Edgar Is an Australian who has a scientist father. There are several committees this year. One ol them Is the so cial committee which will plan the school dances, parties, and any other aoclal entertainment the stu dent body may want. The com mittee members are: Loa Andrus, Jamea Caldwell, Trenton Dowlas, Allene Es-selstrom, Betty Kiing, Dennis Johnson, Sylvia Masscy, Shari Ramey, Robert Thompson, Pam Starr, and Vivian Wllbanks. The adviser Is Mrs. Kemmuer. The student council elected two new omcers for the trnlflo court on October II. Thoy chose Robert jiiiiott as the Judne and Pamela LaGrantle as clcik. The triifllc fqtiad meets every Friday to give punishment to those who have re ceived tickets. The PTA is planning a Hallow een carnival for October 20. There'll be a lot of exciting en tertainment for all. Students are now selling the tickets. Adult tick ets are 25 cents and student tick ets are 10 cents. The student who sells the most tickets receives a prize from the PTA. Selling of student body cards Is quite successful this year. Three rooms already have a 100 per cent membership. They are Mrs. Kem nltzcr's Room 16, Mr. Munhall's Room 14, and Miss Phinr.ey's Room 10. On October 8 the football 1am- hnree was held on Modoc Field. The Midgets scored a 27 - 14 vic tory over the grade schools. lie regulars on the football sqund went to Ashland tor a gnme on October 13. Student coun cil numbers were Invited to ac company the team. The KFJH Regulars tramnled the Allamom Junior High Regulars by a score ol lio-o. The games were pmyea October 7 on Modoc Field. The Midgets have won their mnd gnme this season by defeat ing Pelican - Roosevelt 20-0. at Morioc Field October 12. ANY AGE is the right age for a jumper this season. President Bill Ramus Jr. called the meeting to order. The minutes were read and attendance taken by Secretary Johnny Derra. Re ports and measuring of our acres were then discussed. Also, we dis cussed the harvest of our potatoes, record book completion and the exhibit at the Potato Festival. The meeting was then adjourned. Alter the meeting, Mrs. Rush served refreshments.
