"Achievement and leadership,' Bishop outlined goals for 4-H members which include training youth to be good citizens, neighbors and future parents. Mrs Arthur- Kaley, vice presi dent of the Lake County 4-H Club Leaders Association, presided at the dinner meeting in the absence of Mrs. Mary Padget, president. Lee Hansen, county 4-H Club agent, announced that two other achievement dinners will be held in the county. On October 22 there will be one at Fort Rock and on I'wember 10, one at Westside. Richard Proebstel, assistant man ager of the Lakeview branch of the First National Bank of Port land, presented the pins, which are furnished by the bank. Ingram, commander of Detach ment 603 of the 2308 Recruiting Group, Portland, visited the of fices ot T-Sgt Don Adams, Klam ath Falls USAF Recruiter, Tues day and Wednesday on an inspec tion tour. Col. Ingram, who has been in charge of USAF recruiting for Ore gon for the past lew years, nas been given the additional territory of Idaho and Southern Washington to include under his jurisdiction. Tiie air ofiicer left Klamath Falls Wednesday to inspect the USAF recruiting Unions in Rose burg, Eugene and Salem.
