Ju lier. Food Sale The Chiloquin Home Extension Unit will hold a cooked food sale Friday, October 14, at the Indian Education Ofilcc in the Norval Building, according to Mrs. E. B. Romine, Sale starts at 10 a.m. Mrs. Beth Ayoutt of Eastside Is in Portland for a medical checkup and will visit her brother, Bob Smalley, and family. Geti Buck Edward Richard son, home to Eastide from OTI over the weekend, brought home a live-pointer, the biggest one shot on the hill east of his parent's place. Hunters Mox Kimmel of Rose- burg and his brother, Karl Kim mel, ot Cottage Grove and Larry Fulcher of Portland have been guests at the Alfred McCuffln home at Eastside since the hunt ing season opened. Apple Harvest The Cornett orchards at Eastside will start the apple harvesting next week, wea ther permitting. The crop is re ported good, but a little later than normal. Alturas The South Davis Creek PTA will hold a harvest dance Saturday evening, October 15, from 9 p.m. to a a.m. at tne Davis Creek Grange Hall. Dal Dodge will furnish the music. New Son Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Bartholomew of Alturas are par ents of a son, weighing 8 lbs., Vt cz., born at Modoc Medical Cen ter, on October 7. Daughter Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cloud of Alturas became parents of a daughter, weighing 7 lbs..
