Hundreds of residents lined up for military passes required for accchs to their homes, from which the Punuco River waters are re ceding. Many found their dwell ins stripped. Army commanders prohibited removal of any property from the flooded zone for a period of eight days. Twelve helicopters from the U.S. Navy's airplane carrier Siboney continued rescue activities, giving a rest to those from the carrier Saipan. The Saipan's helicopters had been worked almost around the clock tor five days. High winds and steady rain limited helicopter activities yester day but the first relief train reached the isolated stricken port. Its 10 boxcars were loaded with 600 field tents, 141 tons of food. 1,000 oil stoves. 12 tons of clothing and l.irge quantities of soap and detergents Twenty-five planeloads of meat and canned foods were flown In from Monterrey, and five more u!s. Air Force transports arrived with medicines and emergency supplies.
