OCTOBER 13, is the date set for opening of bids for construction of U.S. Bureau of Reclamation administrative, shop and warehouse facilities for the Klamath Falls Project headquarters and the Tulelalte Project headquarters. USBR offices formerly located at Newell will be incorporated in the USBR Building Bids Asked Sealed bids in duplicate will be received until 2 p.m.. October 13. Seattle for resettle ment of the Klamath and Tulelake project facilities of the U.S. Bu reau of Reclamation according to information received today from ine 13111 Naval District. Specification No. 44484 and other biddintr data and information may be obtained on application to the District Public Works Officer in Seattle. The work includes the construc tion of three one-story headquart ers buildings consisting ol con crete foundations and floor slabs, steel roof trusses and wood roof deck with built-up roofing. Exter ior walls will be concrcto mason ry units with interior of wood frame with wall board finish. There will be 13 prefabricated metal buildings of various sizes with concrete foundations, con crete floor slabs or gravel floors and one pump house ot concrete and masonry construction. The work also Includes heating, plumbing, ventilation and electrical systems and paving with asphaltlc concrete and surfacing of roads and parking areas with crushed rock. The office of Howard R. Perrin drew the plans for both project headquarters and facilities. Work will be expedited as much as possible, it was announced lo cally. In order to move the Klam ath Falls project offices and ware house from the Klamath Falls airport to make way for incoming personnel at the Air Force base here.
