Chamberlain. 1636 Johnson, wss slightly injured yes terday tvtning when the auto he was driving rammed the rear of a parked pickup truck and pushed it 29 feet, Klamath Falls police reported todsy. According to investigating officer Raymond Switser, the truck was parked In the 900 block en East Main, and was in gear with the braktt locked at tht timt of the accident. The truck was regis tered to J. P. Arnett. Chamberlain was cited for reck les driving, and is free on 1100 bsil. The aeeident occurred at 10 p.m. Child Molester Pleads Guilty WEED At the September 13 trial hearing of David Ueroy Doss. 28, Weed, in the Weed Judicial Court, the defendant upon the ad vice of his attorney, entered a plea of guilty to charges of mo lesting a child under the age of 18. Judge Kenneth Stone sentenced Doss to six months In the county Jail. The time was suspended and tht defendant was certified to the superior court for a sanity hear ing. Does is now serving a six month term in tht county Jail in Yreka for like charges to which he plead ed guilty following his arrest In Mount Shasta August 26. He wss originally arrested in Weed May 31 and at the time of his arrest In Mount Shasta, was at liberty on $250 bail, having pleaded not guilty. To Hear Arms Ideas UNITED NATIONS. N. Y. (F) Proposals for inspections to en force disarmament from all the Big Four powers were before the U. N. disarmament subccmmlttee Friday following Britain's submis sion of a practice check plan. Prime Minister Eden's proposal to begin inspection of East-West armies in a limited area was put before the subcommittee formally Thursday by British Minister of State Anthony Nutting. Nutting said it wis presented because Britain thought it was time to tske action even if on a limited scale Instead of Just talk ing about disarmament, inspection and controls. Under the British plan, repre sentatives of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) and the Soviet Bloc troops would mske up a supervisory commission. Commanders on each side would decide on a territory to be opened for checking and furnish tnlorma- tion on what land, aea and air equipment and Installation strength they hsd In the area Mixed inspection teams would then tour the areas and check on the declarations. The plan does not Include In spection of nuclear weapons. It was described officially as a try out in inspection and not even tor arms control.
