Accidents Mar Yeekend RED CROSS FLOOD RELIEF funds were aided by Klamath Basin residents last week when they purchased food items from the Red Cross sponsored food sales. Mrs. Charles Da kin (left), of the Klamath Falls Red Cross Chapter, shows a cake sold at the sale to Eloise Dugas and Bob Cable of the Big Y Market meat department. Local 366 of the Amalgamated Meat Cut ters and Butchers' Workers Union voted $50 for the relief fund. The $50 was used to purchase a cake from among those on sale at the Big Y Market. The cake was then returned to the Red Cross for a further sale. Sheriff Murray Brit ton said he is wanted at Sacra mento as an escapee from a Cali fornia road camp. It was reported he was serving a sentence for drunken driving.
