Weed School Faculty Named WEED Gerald Kubll. prlncl nal of the Weed High School an nounced the faculty roster of the school this week and Septem ber 6 as the opening day of the school term. Short session classes beginning at 8 a.m. and assembly are scheduled for the first day. Kubll, wno finished the past term on the Mnrysville faculty, as dean of students and history ami physical education teacher, moved his family to Weed this summer. He was a resident of Mount Shas ta for 10 years, graduating from high school there and a resloent of Weed from 1939-43. Except for Kubll who replaces Dale Owen, resignea, oniy one other change Ic noted on the Weed faculty. David Tolle, leach ing English, Journalism and ar rangement of the Year Book, comes from Loynllon and replaces Mrs. Maxwell Vandevert who ha3 recently moved to Redding. The remainder of the Weed fac ulty will include Wayne Dove, mathematics; Mrs. Leslie Ewlng, social studies and girls physical education; Mrs. William Hughes, Spanish and commercial studies: Mort Kaer, boys physical educa tion, mathematics: Robert Line- bargcr, science: Mrs. Marjorle Mccracken, English; Olno Michel son, vice-principal, mathemathlcs; bookkeeping; Tom Pemberton, in o'listrlal arts; Wyna Scott, com mercial; Alton Shipman, social studies; Mrs. Alton Shipman, home economics; David Shatter, music.
