Then drawer rails are Inserted In notches cut in front and back of framework. When the first frame section Is placed on top of the second section, the drawer guides of No. 1 and drawer rails of No. 2 shuuld come together properly to form a "scat" for the drawer. Glue Is now applied to the under side of No. 1 section and the two sections are drawn together tightly with screws driven from the un derside of No. 2 section. The desk top may be fastened to the framework with screws driven through the top, or with angle irons attached from below. Except for the drawer front, which is made of one-inch stock, the drawer is fabricated of half inch wood. Wooden or metal draw er handles are obtainable from building supply dealers. Choice of wood for the table- desk will depend largely upon the surroundings in which it Is placed. Ideally, it should match the other furniture in the room.
