Over 100 guests invited during (he hours from 3 to S p.m., ware received in a letting' bright with large arrangements of vari-colored gladioli and other summer (lowers. Guests from out of town included Mrs. William Campbell, who, with her husband, Dr. William Campbell, Stockton, was a houieguest at the Crystal Springs home of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Sharp; and three former residents, Mrs. Earl C. Hillis, 810 Eldor ado. Ben is the son ot Mr. and Mrs. Everett E. Malone, Hilyard Avenue. Sylvia, a snmor at the University of Ariiona, where she Is affiliated with Chi Omega social sorority, was recently initiated into Phi Lamda Theta, national education honorary. Her fiance is a graduate of Bonania High School, later serving with the U.S. Army, with overseas duty in Korea. Stevens, Salem, will be an event of summer in First Presbyterian Church, August 21.
