McGllvray will be hostesses. Released Shirley Foster, whose address has been Multnomah Coun ty Hospital, has moved to 731 NW 24th Avenue, Portland. She was re leased from the hospital December 14. Bonanza Santa Claus will be In Bonanza the evening ol Decem ber 18. Weather permitting he will be at the big tree in the center of town. If it is stormy the party will be in the firehousc in Bonanza. The fireman are in charge of the program and there will be treats for all the children. All are welcome. Langell Valley Farm Bureau will meet in the community hall December 21 at 8 p.m. J. P. Christmas Party The mem bers of 8 and 40 will entertain hus bands and guests at a potluck din ner and Christmas party Sunday December 10. The social hour will begin at 4 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Members are asked to bring a white elephant. Service The Malin Commun ity Presbyterian Church will hold a special candlelight service Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24. at 6:30. The Rev. Carl DeMott will be in charge. Calltd Elmer Rowden, Klam ath Falls, was called to Medford last seek by the death of his mother, Mrs. Carrie Rowden, resi dent of Medford for 18 years, who died December 10. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Frank Bern heisel; four other sons, George, Butte Falls.. Melvin and Orva!, Jacksonville, and Harvey of Med ford; also a sister, Mrs. Mary Hat field, Fort Bragg, California. Card Tarty sponsored by the Lost River Grange will start the usual winter series of pinochlo games at the Lost River Hall, Sat urday. Home Mrs. Don Spiering, Mer rill, has returned from Portland where her husband returned to St. Vincent's Hospital for further med ical treatment. He had been home for one week. Improved Word has been re ceived here that a former Klamath Falls resident, Mrs. Ruby C. Lyle, aunt of Mrs. Truman Runyan is at home after several months In Providence Hospital, Portland. Mrs. Lyle was at one time super intendent of Hillside Hospital. She was critically injured in an auto mobile collision in Portland in Au gust and has been hospitalized since that time. Her home address is 2206 N.E. 22nd Street, Portland. Christmas Party Neighbors of Woodcraft will hold their annual Christmas children's party . Mon day, December 20, 8 p.m. 'in the K.C. Hall. All members and friends are invited to take children. There will be treats for the children, a visit from Santa and a program. Serving on the party committee .- V - BLANCHE ESTELLA ESGATE Esgate Rites SSated Tomorrow Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Estella E s gate, well- known Klamath matron who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Britton of Marysville. Call ifornia on December 14, will be held Saturday, December 18- from the First Christian Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Leo Horner will officiate. Mrs. Esgate was believed to be improving following surgery sev eral weeks ago. She was prepar ing to take part in a family re union. Mr. and Mrs. Esgate cele brated their 55th wedding anni versary on September 12 of this year. Her widower Chester Ar thur Esgate survives her. Pallbearers named are Norman Fraley, Gerald Wickersham, Roy Arnold, Al Bailey, Larry Redden and Francis Smith. Final rites and interment in Klamath Memorial Park. Eastern Star Ceremony Held WEED An affiliation cere mony for two new numbers was performed at the "meeting Tues day night, of White Pine Chapter 487, Order of the Eastern Star.. Mr. and Mrs. Durwood Gammill were affiliated with the local chap ter. Mrs. Luclle Oaynor, worthy matron presided. Christmas piano selections were played by Mrs. Sue Davis and carols of Christmas were sung by the members. Continuing the theme of Christ mas, party refreshments were served at Santa Claus decorated tables In the banquet room. An exchange of gifts highlighted the hospitality session.
