The storm, moving northward, dumped rain from Northern Geor gia to Eastern Pennsylvania and over the upper Ohio Valley. Rain fall in the last 24 hours was more than one Inch in many cities along the coast, with more than two Inches reported at Charleston, S.C and Cape Hatteras, N.C. Light miow fell in Northern Min nesota and in the Northern Rockies while showers were quite general along the Pacific Northwest coast al region. It was chilly over many areas, with the freezing line extending southward to extreme Northwest Louisiana.
