Sullivan, Merced. Vows were exchanged in the Merced Our Lady of Mercy Catho lic Church. Hie bride, escorted to the flower banked altar by her father, wore a white satin and marquisette gown with fitted bodice and a full skirt which featured a lone train. Sho carried a floral muff of st'ephanotis centered with a white orchid; and a pearl crown held her lace trimmed veil. t : A mauve net over taffeta frock was worn by Mrs. William Des calso, matron of honor. Edith Fregno, bridesmaid, wore a light blue dress of the same pattern and material as Mrs. Descalso's. The shower at the Emll Tofejl home was Friday evening, Novem ber 12. and most of the guests were members of the Malin school faculty, of which Ted's mother. Mrs. Fred Cordon, is a member. After the honored guest had opened his gifts, refreshments were served and cards played during the rest of the evening. Invited guests included, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. The new Mrs. Martin Is a grad uate of Merced High School. Her husband; a graduate of KUHS, is presently enrolled at Fresno State College. Williamson Riv er Ranch last Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs: Melvin Fitzpat rick as hosts for the potluck meal. Guests gathered at 6:30 p.m. for the delicious dinner followed by pictures of the development of the ranch since December of The slides were taken and shown by Dick Henzel. Malm, one of the ranch owners. They showed air and land views beiore and af ter reclamation, the construction uf the barge, the pumping plant and the grain elevator,, in addition to pictures of land during various stage of cultivation. The remainder of the evening was spent in square and ballroom dancing with Mis. Rohlln Phelffer, Sprague River, and Mrs. Lester Hoback. Modoc Point, calling.
