Irrigation Leader Named Fred" Rueck, Incumbent, will bold the office of director of Horsefly Irrigation District, at least until the second Tuesday of nert November, according to a de cision by Attorney William Ga nong. There was question whether Ru eck or his opponent, H. E. Ober- heitie, would be named director when voting November 9 ended In a tie. A legal statement from Ganong. released by John Hey den, HID secretary, discussed the matter, ' Ganong's conclusion based on Oregon Revised Statutes 545.014, sub-section 2, is that Rueck Is en titled to hold office until his suc cessor Is elected and qualified. Since nothing in the law authorizes holding an election other than on the second Tuesday in November of each year, the Incumbent will hold olfice until that time.
