The play is a fast moving com edy centering around Hildegarde Dolson, a high school student who is trying to attract an eligible sen ior for the big school dance. She tries to impress the fellows by win ning the school debate, but makes natters worse by convincing ev eryone that her father is a drunk ard. Complications pile up and the climax is hilarious.
