Plane Accident Kills Four TUCSON, Ariz. IP A crippled Air Force plana crashed while trying to make an emergency land-' lng at Tucson Municipal Airport last night, killing lour airmen and injuring 11 others. , The plane, based at Ellington Air Force Base, Houston Tex., had just taken oft when it developed j engine trouble. While trying to re turn, it struck power lines, smash-1 ed into the ground short of the j runway and broke into flames. Three of the injured were in seri ous but not critical condition in Pima County Hospital. '. Names of the dead were with- held. Homemade Bomb Set Near Union DENVER UP1 A homemade bomb of six sticks ot dynamite was dis covered at Pipefitters Union head quarters here last night only three minutes before it was set to go off. Detective Capt. Clifford Stanley said the sputtering fuse was no ticed on a window sill. The local's business agent, Thomas E. Hamby, opened the window and cut the fuse, Stanley said. There were five others in the building.
