Interesting cheese picks are made by alternating Tokay grapes and balls of cream and Blue cheese mixed with ground walnuts on wooden picks. Ess were among grange members at the Midland Grange who received their 25-year mem bership pins. There were five oth ers of the Midland area. Mrs. Rav Brownell and her daughter were on their way home ! from work Saturday evening when they saw smoke coming from the toot of a woodshed building at the H. V. Ess ranch.
