Unable to leave his post for the wedding; the timely call was a happy surprise to the newlyweds. Kayo is the son of Mr, and Mrs. Kelley Robinette, Spring Lake, and he and Elna are living in Eugene, where both are students at the University of Oregon, 1 C WUIV'. WrfTi t' I j , '1 , V f . k . - .11 k . aw BRIDE WITH HER MOTHER COUPLE AT COLLEGE IN EUGENE 'AFTER HOME WEDDING IN GARDEN LANGELL VALLEY -r Sunday September 5 was a perfect day for the wedding of Elna Mae Fitz hugh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Fitzhugh, Langell Valley, and Kaye Chester Robinette, son of Mr. snd Mrs. Kelley Robinette of Spring Lake. The 'Rev. Lloyd Holloway offici ated at the double rfng 2 p.m. exchange of vows before a back ground of evergreens and white gladioli under a natural arch of locust and apple trees on the lawn cf the Ivan Boley home. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a waltz length gown of white tulle over satin. Her fin gertip veil of tulle and lace was held in place by a crown of seed pearls and white sequins. She car ried a bouquet of siephanotis and a white orchid. The bride's only attendant was her cousin, Ruth Galloway of'Tule lake, whose dress of Nile green tulle over satin was patterned af ter the brine's. She wore a spider web cap. of yellow carnations, and carried a matching bouquet. Myron Hurlbut was the best man and Ernest Mathes and Al len Ward ushered. William Alnley sang "Always," and "The ' Lord's Prayer," accompanied by Mrs. Perry Stamper at the organ. ' For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Fitzhugh chose a black faille suit, with a corsage of yellow gladioli. Mrs. Robinette wore a gray crepe dress with a pink carnatior. corsage. The reception was on an adjoin ing part of the lawn. The beautlfu: four tiered wedding cake was madw and decorated by Mrs. Orval De Vaul, Mrs. Ivan Bold and Mrs. Cecil Haley. Mrs. DeVaul and Mrs. Wilbur Robinette cut and served the cake Mrs. Perry A. Stamper, sister of the bridegroom, served the punch: and Mrs. Ivan Boley, sister of the bride, poured coffee. Deanna Campbell passed the bell and Mrs. Ray Davis were at grest book, and Mrs. John Camp- tne gift table. For traveling, the bride wore an rutumn suit with the orchid from her bouquet pinned at the shoulder.
