Some 60 of Trudy's friends were invited for dessert at 8 f.m., and the mothers of the three hostesses, Mrs. Chet Langs et, Mrs. H. O. Juckeland and Mrs. F. Cecil Adams, assisted during the evening. The serving table was centered with a striking center piece on a pure white linen damask cloth; a green and white 'shower" umbrella was placed handle down in a colorful cir cular base ot marigolds, pompon chrysanthemums and pe tuniasall in rich fall (hades from rusty gold to deep rose. The hostesses had cleverly contrived the effect of actual rain on the floral arrangement by tying ice cubes to the frame work inside the umbrella and as they melted, drops of water "showered" the blossoms benerVi. Back of the lace-draped gift fable was a huge deep greeji and white heart bearing the names "Trudy and Joe" first name of her fiance, Joe Wilkins. Trudy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bramlett, and her wedding will be an event of September 18. Decorative focal points were two beautiful floral arrangements; one on the living room fireplace man tel a striking bouquet of car nations, sweet peas and larkspur in pink and white under a small umbrella of Irothy pink lace and satin ribbon. On the dining table a dramatic arrangement of white gladioli was flanked by lighted white tapers in crvstal candelabra. Dessert was served preceding an interval of games and the opening of the gifts. The program included "Navy Blue and Gold March," "Mariamia Waltz." "Old Folks at Home" "San Antonio Rose," "Sweet Mem ories," "Carnival Venice," "Laura March," and "Spanish Dance."
