Committees working on the af fair have made arrangements for use of the Chiloquin Hiph School gymnasium if weahter does no: permit the picnic to be held in Colliej Park as originally planned. Geary and Mis, Olive Comett', Nntional Republican Com n.-itteewoman from Oregon and others will speak on information Death Claims Mrs. Flackus Mrs. Millie Ann Flackus. wife 'of Charles H. Flackus of this city, died about 6 a. in. Thursday at Hillside Hospital following an Ill ness of the past IS months. She had lived In Klamath Falls for 58 years. Mrs. Flackus was 70 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Flackus farmed for many years in the Dairy com munity until their retirement about six years aso when they moved to Klamath Falls. The fam ily home is at 1934 Applegate. She is survived by her widower, Charles; her daughters, Mrs. Lou ise Schmoe, Langell Valley, Mrs. Bculah Holmes, Henley, Mrs. Lyle "Lorenz, Eugene, Mrs. Gladys Brown Winnemucca. Nevada, and Ada Flackus of this city; sons, Warren of Adel, Oregon and Ernest of this city; sisters, Mrs. Jessie Olsacker, Green View, California and Mrs. Etta Blanton, Elma, Washington; one brother, Irvin Clark, Seattle; also numerous grandchildren. Funeral services will be an nounced by Ward's Klamath Fu neral Home following arrival of members of the family from a distance. I vital to voters. Picnic lunches are to be taken by those attending. There will be free dessert and soft drinks and entertainment for children. Everyone interested in a first hand account of the accomplish- j ments of the 83rd Congress is in vited to hear Senator Cordon and Congressman Coon. In an ornate federal courtroom. Rep. Alvin M. Bentley (R.Mich!, subcommittee chairman, and Hen. Michael A. Feighan. Cleveland Democrat, listened yesterday while seven persons recalled painful memories ot atrocities, persecution and deception. The Soviets had planned the post war government of Hungary even betore that nation surrendered in World War II, Dr. Oeza Teleki told the subcommittee yesterday. He spoke of his fight as minister ot education to keep the Russians from dominating Hungary's shools. The 43-year-old Teleki, now a professor of political geography at the University of Virginia, said he was one of three patriots who sneaked through Gestapo lines to petition to Allied forces In Moscow for surrender.
