SUNSHINE WAS SCARCE ... but HOSPITALITY was plentiful last Sunday for the 70
some guests who came from various points around the general countryside to join the hosts
(above), in celobrating the birthday of Wenona Dyer, from Honolulu, houseguest of Mr.
and Mrs. Lee Stoner, center couple, at their Klamath Falls "River House" on Conger Avenue;
and at "The Other House," Lake o' the Woods.
Locale of the 2 to 5 p.m. event, was the Lake o' the Woods summer home of the other
hosting couple, far left, and right; Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Stiles.
Hawaiian-decorated invitations couched in pigdin - Polynesian brought American - gusto, re
sponses. The spacious grounds and house of the Stiles' lake menage and the wide array of
interesting food added to the above-mentioned "hospitality" were temptations to tarry
and most did. Photos by Milly Ramsby
