The rummage sale, sponsored by the American Association'
of University Women, is scheduled for September 10-11 in the
Pelican Theater Building, 8th and Klamath. All proceeds to go
to the AAUW scholarship fund.

headquarters Thursday afternoon, September 9.

lar meeting ol the Civlo Improve
ment Club, Friday alicinooii, Au
gust t, was conducted by first vice
president, Mrs. Harold Wing,
Klamath Agency.
The financial report for July was
read by Mrs. William A. Page,
treasurer, followed by a roullne
standing committee reports, after
which plans were made for the an
nual club bazaar. Scheduled date
is Saturday evening, September 18.

of assistants. They will meet at

make preliminary plans.
It was decided that the mem
bers of Boy Scout Troop 34 will be
asked to clean up the grounds of
the club property. The boys use
the clubhouse for meetings and
various actlvltes at all times, and
have signified their willingness to
, clean the yard.
The meeting adjourned and a
social hour was enjoyed, with re
freshments served at tables made
lovely with arrangements of del
phinium arranged with other sum
mer blooms. Hostesses were Mrs.

dore R. Nicholson, who served the

Pink organdy cloth, centered with a beautiful arrangement of white asters and pink roses,
centered at the top with a pair of white wedding bells. The cake, also pink and white, was
served by Mrs. Harold -Teale, whose daughter, Patty, served the punch.
A very striking arranqement of white chrysanthemums and pink roses decorated the liv
