Miller, 640 Conger Avenue, to Phillip Lee Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lewis, Hood River, were planned by the bride. Henry Thomas, former Klamath Kalis resident and rector of St. Paul's Berkeley. Janice Larson, organist, ac companied Margaret Gcrber, vocal soloist. Both are close friends of the bride. The litted strapless bodice was topped with a matching net stole; and Ihe very full skirl was waltz length, she carried a cascade bouquet of pas tel lemon, lime and pink carna tions to niatch her dress. Mrs. Miller wore a soft shade and pearls spnrkllng in an Irregu lar wide border, following the scallop detail. The senior Mrs. Lewis wore a, smart silk linen, with matching bands of cut-cm-broidery insertion set in Uie skirt arid outlining the neckline. Both of the mothers wore shoulder cor sages of single white and rose pink orchids: which had been sent from Honolulu by a friend of Phillip's. The 450 wedding guests were re ceived at the home of the bride's parents. The river setting is per fect for the big roomy house of stone and wood lit warm tones that blend Into the surroundings. The spacious lawn in back of the house is a sweep of flower-bordered green sloping to the rush ing waters of Link River: and in the shade of Ihe beautiful .old trees were placed the cham pagne and punch tables. Cool, ulry, comfort delighted the guests on the warm August afternoon. Pouring, were Mrs. Mabel Ta ber. Klamath River; and Mrs. W. S. Swigart, Montague: both Mrs. Miller's sisters. Marilyn attended the University of Oregon for one year; later com pleting a business and dental as sistant course at OTI, and was graduated from there this spring. Phillip is ft senior at U of O; majoring in foreign "languages. They will live in Eugene while he continues his studies. The new Mr. and Mrs. Lewis are honeymooning in Victoria, B. C., and for travel, Marilyn wore a charcoal suit with red ac cessories and instead of the us ual corsage she wore 'a lei of wjiite carnations, sent from the islands with the orchids.
