The session will convene at 10 a.m. Worthy master Mike Williams will preside. Anderson, a farmer who came to Klamath County six years ago from Baker, has been in grange work for 23 years. He served as agricultural chairman and steward in Baker Pomona Grange and as IkL i Baker County weed supervisor. 'jt;i! Since coming here, he has served E; years was master of the Malin Grange. Expected for the meeting Satur day are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hen rickson. Henrlckson is state grange youth chairman and state deputy, Mrs, Henrickson is slate Flora. Stanley Church will talk on "pub lic Power and Private Enterprise." Walter Jendrzejewski, assistant county agent will talk on agricul tural problems, substituting for C. A. Henderson, grange agricultural chairman. Dinner will be served at noon by Midland and Henley granges. The program will be presented during the afternoon by Carl Yancy, Pomona lecturer with the assistance of Fort Klamath , and Henley. Mrs. Ruth Doling is lec turer of the Fort Klamath Grange. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Simpson are lecturers of the Henley Grange. Business of the coming Oregon State Grange convention to be held in Klamath Falls in 1955 will be discussed. A New Deal-Fair Deal Democrat, he has joshed that his support of Eis enhower's program has been so good that the President might 'want to support me." Case, 50-year-old Rahway law yer, self-styled liberal Republican and supporter of Eisenhower for President, has come under attack from various conservative backers of the late Sen. Robert A. Taft (R-Ohio). They found fault with Case's vot ing record in Congress and began working against him soon after his nomination for the seat of Repub lican Sen. Robert C. Hendrickson, who did not seek re-election. Then Case lost favor with some backers of Sen. Joseph R. Mc Carthy (R-Wis) when, in one of his first major campaign state ments July 7, he called McCarthy "a deeply decisive force" and said he thought McCarthy should be unseated from the Committee on Government Operations. State Rejects Lost River Bids The State Highway Commission authorized work on 24 more pro jects Tuesday but rejected all bids ' for construction of a bridge over Lost River on the Oregon - Califor- j nia state line highway near Hat field.
