BUTTER BALLS
Butter balls are an attractive
way to serve butter. They are fun
and easy to make adding a bit
of glamour to this delectable dairy
food.
Make them with butter ball pad
dles, dipping the paddles into a
bowl of ice water before rolling
the butter. This keeps the paddles
cold so the butter won't cling to
them. Cut the butter into serving
sized pieces, place between the
paddles and roll until properly
shaped.
NO STOCKINGS?
If you have shed your stocking
and are wearing those airy, bare
foot sandals, be aure your legs are
smooth and suntanned until they
are tan, you can smooth lotion on
your legs that makes them tan In
a minute but does not retard the
natural tanning process. Be sure
your toenails are pedicured and
gleaming with nail polish. Place
tufts of cotton between the toes
while nail polish Is drying to avoid
smearing.

Fortunately for your pocketbook
this Is the age of the scientifical

become too expensive. If you are
not one of those who can put up
your own hair, it is a popular
service to swap with a girl friend
you wind her hair when she- is
ready for a permanent and she'll
do yours.
Since the advent ' of the - home
permanent you have probably
abandoned the -old metal - curlers
some metals V change-the color
of the wave lotion no purple, as
you've doubtless learned. , , .
Goody Hair Products has-; intro
duced metal curlers and clips that
are safe to use with any and all
home permanent lotions.The- curl

spring grip that makes them- easy
to roll.
Another bit of good news" Is
the additional development of the
Goody metal home permanent curl
clips. You' would' find them '.avail
able in both.. the t flat and "arched
shapes for use in pin curl permanent.
