It will mean stock bearing a given name produced by a bree der through at least five genera tions of closed flock breeding, ac cording to the State Department of Agriculture. That means a producer has to keep all his birds under his own control and can't add any birds from elsewhere. When he has done this, he can advertise a certain strain of chickens or turkeys. This is one of several new pro visions being written into the plans, which are voluntary associations of breeders working under national and state official agencies to im prove breeding stock.
