Cisco, in a Solemn High Nuptial Mass, Saturday, June 12, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.. Guests met early for a punch session, followed by lunch on, featuring ham. Games were played and priies won by Mrs. Clarence Bailey, Mrs. Maurice O'Keeffe and Mrs. Dale Walker; and a special gift was presented to the honored guest. Mrs. Chin entertained with several piano solos, including "Warsaw Concerto" and "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling." She also accompanied the group in a lively "community-sing." Invited guests included Mrs. Maurice O'Keeffe, Mrs. Dan Cashman, Eileen Noonan, Mrs. John Bryngelson, Mrs. Carl Coulson Jr., Mrs. Dale Walker, Betty Mae Ha mmond, Mrs. Dan Barry and Mrs. Sam Wong, all of Merrill; Mrs. Barry O'Connor, Newell, California; Mrs. Ward Dolan, Mrs. Dan Emrick, Mrs. Tim Murphy, Nora and Ellen Murphy, Mrs. Cliff Phillips, Mrs. Lee Blind, Mrs. Clarence Bailey, Mrs! Eric Majors, honoree, Kathleen, her mother, and her sister, Pali O'Connor. A striking arrangement of peonies and spirea highlighted he punch table; and guests were seated at tables decorated with arrangements of pansies in teacups and china pieces all representative of Ireland. Ruth Ro denberger, royal matron, and Thomas J. O'Harra, royal patron, presided. After the routine business session a recess was declared and the roy al patron presented Joe LaClalr, head of the Audio-Visual Education Department of the city schools who showed two Interesting dims. One portrayed the dally life of the No- niaus in uie sanara Desert of Africa. The second was a study In tolerance with Frank Sinatra in "The House We Live In.' The addenda was written by Jan Elmore. A lovely pink rosebud bouquet was presented to Pearl when she was greeted by her officers. In regular ceremony, her mother, Mrs. Ottoman, was presented with her white Bible, lopped with a while gardenia. The new worthy adviser lias chos en as her theme words, "Hope" and "Nature," which she will carry out through her term of office. Her project plans include a party, a camping trip and a food sale. Proceeds from Uie food sale or other money raised will help to purchase supplies for Uie kitchen of the Masonio Hall.
