Most of the blooms that are so plentiful at this lime of year, had already passed their prime. There were a great many tulips and some beautiful arrangements. A silver tea was held during the I uflernoon. There wss also a short .business meeting. It was reported that the club received lit as us ahure of Uie proceeds flom the garden buxasr held recently at Standard Feed Store, Klamath Falls. Members voted to send two dele gates and pay expenses to the atate meeting of Ihe Oregon Federation ol Garden Clubs at Ashlsnd, be ginning June 6. Thoso chosen to go were president Mrs. Betty Hlce snd vice president Mrs. violet llroun. Mrs. Bessie Frsxlcr wss elected alternate. The next club meeting will be at the library May 28 at 3 p.m. with Mrs. Juanlta Lee and Mra. Lucille Vlerra as hostesses. Roll call will be answered with a slip of chrysanthemum tor plant ex change.
