THE FIRST FOREST FIRE IN TIMIER on the Klamsth Indian Retervation burned approximately
45 screi Tueiday afternoon. Only a small amount of timber wat destroyed, except the small
pola size, sine most of the firt was on an old burn or along edges in heavy brush. The fire
was located about one half mile east of the old Bray Mill siding, approximately 5 miles north
of Chjloquin. Men and equipment from the Forestry Department at Klamath Agency, and
Southern Pacific section crewmen fought the blaze which probably started about 2 p.m. Flames
were under control by about 4:30 p.m.
