He was in the navy the next two years, then lived with his par ents at Henley. He was a student at OTI, later serving again in tho navy for 18 months, which proved to be a world tour for him. He is presently associated with the Klamath Potato Distributors, Incorporated, at Sacramento. The first course of a Norwegian salad and Swedish coffee cake was served at the 'home ol Mrs. C. J. Schmltz. Decorations Included mans of these countries and plnce cards wllh pictures representing homes and places of foreign Inpds. Second course wns served at me home of Mra. P. H. McNeal. where an Itlalan spaghetti dinner was served. Decorations constated of nn Italian flag made by Mra. McNeal, and different products of Italy displayed. The dessert was served at the home of Mra. Angelo Oaapertnt where Hawaii was represented. Hawaiian delight salad and cocoa were served. Table decorations In cluded a centerpiece of dolls from many nations. Jean Oasperinl wore a Hawaiian costume made of ny lon from a parachute net and El eanor Snyder wore the traditional hula grass skirt and flowers. April 21, to 1 celebrate the 25th wedding anni versary of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bairey, Oretech. The guests met at the home of Mrs. Jesse Crab- tree and then arrived en masse at the Bairey home. A look of de lighted surprise, on their faces, the Butreys stood amtzed as the door opened and a vocal barrage of "happy anniversary g r e e I e a them. From there, the group .went lo the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Howard, where everyone was served cake, colfee and tea. The table was appropriately set in sll ver and white with a bouquet of white sweet peas and chrysanthe mums, stiver candles and a beauti fully decorated anniversary ckc. Mrs. John Howard and Mrs. Carl Stolpe poured. Mrs and Mrs. Bairey were pre sented with a purse of money in addition to a silver tree decorates with 35 shiny silver dollars. The Baireys were married April 21. 1929 at Mltchel, South Dakota. Bairey has been an Instructor In Screen Process Technology at Ore gon Technical Institute lor the past six years.
