' t t Camera Chatter 3 "Frame's the Name!" 1 ' vjO y DAL SWOGGER Framing. In the sense w will be talking about today, concerns the taking of your mo vies and stills; an added way of Improving the Interest value of your home movies and snap shots. To frame your picture use an object in the foreground to set off the subject in the back ground of your picture. For in stance, in taking those land scapes of Crater Lake, you "frame" the lake through some large trees in the foreground. The point of framing your pic ture is to add depth or that feeling of a third dimension and to help bring attention to the center of Interest which. In the case of Crater Lake, 1 the lake itself. In taking those "family' va cation pictures, we can put this framing technique to very good use. Frame the vacation views with the family. Have sister standing in the foreground, looking at the subject of inter est, such a view of Klam ath Falls looking down from the OTT road. Remember, that . looking at the subject not to ward the camera, is the direc tive force. Frame your pictures to add interest and beauty to your home movies and snapshots.
