Maunder, will be presented by the adult choir . of Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church Sunday, April 10, at 8 p.m. in the church. Director is Carl Hagel. Soloists are Mrs. Earl Sheridan, so prano; the Rev. Dwayne Proett, tenor; Carl Hagel, baritone. Accompanist is Francis Hamilton. The oratorial recalls the scones which mark the last few days of the Saviour's life on earth and some of the reflections suggested thereby. The rejoicing of the multitude, the view of Jerusalem from the steep of Olivet, the lament over the city, the scene in the Temple, the lonely walk batk over the mountain at night form the chief features in the first part. Part 2 opens with the Supper of the Passover at which Jesus washes his disciples' feet, gives the new commandment of love. From this the scene passes to the infinite pathos of the Garden of Gethsemane, the appear ance of the hostile crowd, Jesus forsaken by His disciples, the tumult before Pilot, the paisage of the Cross, the tragedy and triumph of Calvary. Bob Axel and James Holland. Vice presidential candidates are Sheila Howard, Joan Brady , and Barbara Camp bell. Delphlne Jackson, Beatrice Walsh, Mary Kay Eaton and Helen McKillip were nominated for sec retary, while Julio Sari, Colleen Linelian, Elda Dal Broi. Richard Wickline and Dean Michaelis will compete for treasurer. Other leaders who tried out were Josephine Colwell, Sharon Mallow, Pat Krueger, Barbara Young, Peg gy Hatfield, ' Kthlcen Gallagher, Dolores Gervais, Darlene Brophy, Phyllis Slowey and Anna Marie Eck. The elections will be held the day of the last assembly in May. Pep Club members will be chosen then, too. Funeral choir sang for the fu neral of Mr. W. Barry yesterday. Two of Mr. Barry's sons, Andy and Phil, are graduates of SHA, while a third son, John, is now in tile sixth grade. Considering the time of year, there have not been many "rain outs." Hick Day was held Friday, April 2. The winners of the best and most unusual costumes were Sue Clark, Sharon Rutten and Monte Marts. The best home-room skit was put on by the 7-E section. The next and last national as sembly will be held April 13. The title of the program will be "Por traits In Make-up." Thursday, the glee club will put on a noon show. Admission will be 5 cents. If anyone is interested in Joining an insect club or rock club, see Mr. Redkey. .
