He has been associated with the business for 22 , years, nine , in Klamath Falls. State Rules Out Bird Houses ; . PORTLAND I There will be no bluebird houses along Oregon'a highways. The Slate Highway Commission Wednesday decided to tell Mrs. Claire Douglas of Itogue River that only official informa tional markers are allowable. That has long been policy. Mrs. Douglas, Siskiyou District director of Garden Clubs, Inc., wanted permission to put up 25 bluebird houses between Central Point and Oakland. Now a Blue Star Highway, a war memorial, the garden club wanted to turn it also into a bluebird highway. In another roadside matter, the commission agreed to cooperate again this year with farmers in the Heppncr and Arlington area in burning off dry vegetation along the highways before a fire menace is created., , U.
