Icy Pavement Wreck Cause ASHLAND UP) An accident resulting from icy pavement and fog resulted Thursday morning in tne aentn oi Mrs. Kenneth Wenaus, about 26, Ashland, and injury to three other persons. She was hit by a Trailways bus alter tne bus -had struck a car and skidded out of control on High way 09 just south of the Ashland city limits. Mrs. Wenaus' automobile had run into a ditch alter hitting an icy stretch. A pickup truck oper ated oy Barney Kiggs, 59, and J.E. Gettling, 67, both of Ashland. stopped across the 'highway to help her. She was standing by the truck vhen the bus, driven by Windell ooper, Richmond, Calif., struck a ar operated by John Weber, Ash inri. In an unsuccessful attempt j .avoid the Weber car the bus werved out of control and hit Mrs. Venaus and the truck, which was lemolished.
